Izack Under turns childhood dreams into music in the new album “To the Unknow”

Singer-songwriter Izack Under kicks off 2025 with exciting news. This Friday (10th), he releases his highly anticipated debut studio album. Titled “To the Unknow,” the original, self-written work is now available on all digital platforms, accompanied by audiovisuals on YouTube.

The album features songs inspired by imaginary stories Izack envisioned during childhood and emotions he experienced in the past. Each track represents a unique narrative brought to life through music. According to the artist, every song tells a different story, unveiling a new secret.

Izack recalls that as a child, he dreamed of being something extraordinary: “If someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, instead of answering a doctor or lawyer, I’d say I wanted to be a vampire, Superman, or a wizard. Something supernatural, you know, kid stuff (laughs).” This playful and fantastical essence runs through the entire album, which follows a linear narrative about the unknown.

“I hope this album takes you on a journey into an unknown path filled with emotions and surprises,” the artist describes.

His passion for the supernatural was the starting point for the album’s compositions. Izack reveals that while many musical genres focus on themes like heartbreak and toxic relationships, he wanted to create something different: “That’s when the idea for ‘To the Unknow’ came about, where I could explore unique themes. Something to break that monotony.”

The artist describes the feeling of debuting his album as “euphoric,” highlighting the joy of seeing his childhood stories come to life in this way. “Sometimes I find myself laughing alone, thinking about how I actually managed to make this album. Some people might find it strange, others fun, but I hope everyone enjoys this project. What’s most important to me is that I feel fulfilled for creating it,” he shares.

The production process was a fun and eye-opening experience for Izack, allowing him to revisit childhood memories and turn them into unique melodies and harmonies. “Every detail, every melody and harmony feels completely different from what I usually create, but the stories remain dark because that’s the vibe I identify with right now,” the artist explains.

Although Izack has previously released projects such as “I’m Gonna Be Rich,” “Mistake,” and “Switch,” “To the Unknow” is his first official studio album. “The earlier works were more experimental. Now, I feel like I’m delivering something truly mine,” he concludes.
