Válvera Delivers a Landmark Performance at Bangers Open Air 2025

Formed in 2010, Brazilian metal band Válvera is quickly becoming one of the most exciting names to emerge from the South American metal scene. On Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, the band brought the house down with a powerful set at Bangers Open Air, one of the most prominent heavy metal festivals in Brazil, held on the Waves Stage in São Paulo.

Fresh off a European tour that took them through Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Portugal, Válvera stunned the crowd with an electrifying performance that earned praise from fans and critics alike. Their 40-minute set was packed with raw energy and included three unreleased tracks, leaving the audience wanting more.

Setlist:

• The Skies Are Falling
• Bringer of Evil
• Reckoning Has Begun
• The Damn Colony
• What I Left Behind
• Crawl to the Dawn
• The Traveller

Frontman and guitarist Glauber Barreto reflected on the moment:

“Playing Bangers Open Air 2025 was truly unforgettable. Sharing the stage with global metal giants, in front of thousands of people, on such a professional setup — it’s still sinking in. Hours later, the adrenaline is still pumping. It was insane, and absolutely unforgettable.”

This show marked Válvera’s debut at a major festival, and they seized the opportunity. “All we need is a chance. When it comes, we make it count,” Glauber emphasized. The band delivered a soul-stirring performance filled with intensity and heart.

The crowd’s energy was described as electric, with fans flooding social media with stories and reactions during and after the show. Glauber also shared the joy of reconnecting with friends and meeting idols who have now become fellow artists on the road.

“Thank you to Isa, Venus Concerts, our crew, our fans, and everyone who made this day possible. Thank you, Bangers! We’ll see you again soon,” Glauber concluded.
Válvera is composed of Glauber Barreto, Rodrigo Torres, Leandro Peixoto, and Gabriel Prado. The band continues to carve a bold path in the global metal scene — and judging by this performance, they’re only just getting started.
