Brazilian sertanejo music is gaining even more international recognition with the nomination of Tierry’s album “Do Velho Testamento” for the 2025 Latin Grammy in the category Best Sertanejo Music Album. The project was signed by Gabriel Fernandes (Music Producer, Audio Engineer, and Mixing Engineer) and audio engineer Amanda Ayume, who were key players in achieving the sound that has captivated both the audience and critics.
Released by Virgin Music Group, the album presents a modern yet authentic sertanejo sound, with striking lyrics and arrangements that combine emotion and technical sophistication. Each track was carefully crafted to strengthen Tierry’s artistic identity while also connecting with the international market.
“This recognition is the result of a lot of dedication. Seeing the album nominated for the Latin Grammy shows that Brazilian music has the strength and quality to conquer the world. It’s an honor to be part of this story alongside Tierry and the entire team,” says Gabriel Fernandes.
Audio engineer Amanda Ayume also celebrates the achievement: “Working on this project was an incredible experience. Every sound detail was thoughtfully designed to convey Tierry’s truth. This nomination shows that technical and artistic care go hand in hand when it comes to moving people through music.”
