Marilia Zangrandi: Check out the singer’s participation on the Amplifica podcast

On January 25th, singer Marilia Zangrandi was a guest on the “Amplifica” podcast alongside musician Bill Hudson, with Rafael Bittencourt, guitarist and founder of Angra, hosting the show With his usual lightness, Rafael makes his guests feel comfortable discussing various topics, including an excellent musical improvisation between them during the chat.

As a confessed fan of Angra, Marilia highlights some details about her influences to Rafael in one excerpt: “When I started wanting to make music, I was listening to the albums ‘Angels Cry’ and ‘Holy Land’, by the way, some of the ones I’ve listened to the most in my life, and I usually say that they blew my mind in relation to music, and from that I became interested in listening to more opera, decided to want more from my voice.”

In another excerpt, Marilia mentions her original project called “The Shadow Works”: “It’s the first time I’m doing my own compositions, I’ve already written two songs, maybe a third one will appear, I hope that happens, and I’ll record it next week.” Check out the full interview at the link below:
