New single delivers a sharp critique of authority figures’ credibility and marks the beginning of a new sonic chapter for the band
Verita unveils its latest release, “Cult of Reason,” a single that represents a significant turning point in the band’s artistic journey. Reinforcing a sound defined by heaviness, dynamics, and intensity, the track also ოფიცი ally introduces the group’s new lineup, now solidified as a power trio.
Blending melodic verses with an instantly memorable chorus, the song strikes a balance between aggression and musicality—hallmarks that have shaped Verita’s identity since its inception. Originally founded in 2023 as a solo project, Verita gained recognition with its debut album, well received by both audiences and critics. Now featuring Guilherme Manzato (lead and backing vocals), Caio Kirdeika (guitar), and Felipe Fornachari (bass), the band expands its horizons and aims to strengthen its presence both nationally and internationally.
“Cult of Reason” was recorded at Coelhos Studios in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, with production, mixing, and mastering by Filipe Coelho. The single is now available on all streaming platforms and officially marks a new phase in the band’s career.
