“One Piece,” Eiichiro Oda’s iconic creation that debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997, has garnered critical and commercial acclaim on a global scale. Many volumes of the series have broken sales records in Japan.

The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks, the Red-Haired. Luffy sets off from the East Blue in search of the legendary treasure, One Piece, with the dream of becoming the Pirate King.

On his journey to assemble the Straw Hat Pirates crew, he rescues and befriends Roronoa Zoro, a skilled swordsman who becomes his right-hand man. Joining them are Nami, the navigator and thief; Usopp, a sharpshooter and storyteller; Vinsmoke Sanji, a womanizing chef; and other crew members who join the adventure.

Together, they face off against notorious pirates from the East Blue. As Luffy and his team embark on new adventures, new members join the crew, including Tony Tony Chopper, an anthropomorphic doctor and reindeer; Nico Robin, an archaeologist and former assassin; Franky, a cyborg shipwright; Brook, a skeletal musician and swordsman; and Jimbei, a fish-man Triton and former member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
