The journalist from Minas Gerais, Heberton Lopes, has stood out with a unique approach to topics considered taboo by society. Initially known as the “death reporter” due to his coverage of the funeral industry, this communication professional has demonstrated versatility, exploring a wide range of controversial and fascinating subjects on his YouTube channel, \u201cVim te Mostrar.\u201d With success on the video platform, Heberton was invited to return to television and is now the director and reporter of the Andr\u00e9 Show, broadcast on TV Band Minas. He also hosts the segment “Bastidores da Minera\u00e7\u00e3o,” which recently debuted as part of the TV program he directs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the more than 290 videos available, viewers can find a surprising variety of topics. If there\u2019s curiosity, we\u2019ll record it,” jokes the journalist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The curiosity-driven channel has explored behind-the-scenes looks at motels, offering an unprecedented view of what goes on behind closed doors while clients enjoy the services. The “Vim te Mostrar” team has also ventured into cutting-edge medicine, presenting reports on robotic surgeries and exploring the latest technological innovations in healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The channel hasn\u2019t shied away from history either, visiting an old sanatorium and a leper colony, shedding light on the legacy of these places. “When I started the channel, I never imagined it would go this far. The audience’s positive reception to unusual topics motivated me to continue exploring subjects many consider taboo. I realized there was a demand for content that approached these issues respectfully and journalistically,” said the communicator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The journalist attributes part of the channel’s success to the direct, non-sensationalist approach he takes with his reports. “Whether discussing body preparation for funerals or exploring a motel\u2019s behind-the-scenes, I always strive to treat these topics with respect and professionalism. I believe it\u2019s this seriousness that attracts the audience, even when the subject might seem controversial at first glance,” he explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expanding to other social media platforms has allowed “Vim te Mostrar” to reach an even larger and more diverse audience. “Each platform has its unique characteristics, and adapting the content for different formats has been a stimulating challenge,” says the journalist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead, Heberton plans to continue exploring unconventional topics on “Vim te Mostrar,” always seeking new ways to present relevant and curious information to his audience. “Journalism has the power to shed light on aspects of life that often go unnoticed or are deliberately ignored. My goal is to keep doing that, bringing forth stories and information that can educate, entertain, and perhaps even change perspectives,” he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With nearly 300 videos available, “Vim te Mostrar” now includes other journalists on the content production team, along with a videographer, video editors, a journalism intern, and a marketing manager. Weekly reports are posted on Sundays, and every Wednesday, the live interview show “Vim te Mostrar Ao Vivo” is broadcast directly from the channel\u2019s studio in Belo Horizonte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
