Batom Produ\u00e7\u00f5es and its representative – director, screenwriter, and actress Alexia Annes – have just celebrated an important milestone in their journey by joining the Brazilian delegation at the S\u00e9ries Mania Forum 2026 in Lille, France. Widely recognized as a central hub for the global audiovisual industry, the forum brought together producers, distributors, and the world\u2019s leading streaming platforms. In this edition, Brazil stood out as the only official delegation from Latin America, highlighting the growing international interest in original Brazilian content. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The national delegation was organized through a strategic partnership between Brazilian Content, the Ministry of Culture, SPCine, PNAB, and ECAB, bringing together 15 selected production companies under the leadership of Lucas Soussumi. Batom Produ\u00e7\u00f5es earned its place through a rigorous selection process and was represented in person by Alexia Annes. During the forum, she presented Batom Produ\u00e7\u00f5es\u2019 projects and led business meetings aimed at fostering co-production agreements and licensing opportunities, with a focus on the European and Asian markets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Participating in S\u00e9ries Mania and introducing Batom Produ\u00e7\u00f5es to the international market is a key step in the global expansion of our work. Brazil participated through this unique Latin American delegation,” says Alexia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the highlights Batom Produ\u00e7\u00f5es brought to France were the series \u201cSukata, the Musical \u201cand \u201cThis is Not a Love Story\u201d. Sukata, already in distribution in Brazil, is now exploring opportunities abroad. This is Not a Love Story was presented in its early development stage, with the main goal of attracting partners for an international co-production. For Alexia Annes, the forum represented the maturation of the production company, providing direct contact with numerous global channels and production companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in S\u00e9ries Mania not only strengthens Batom Produ\u00e7\u00f5es\u2019 network but also marks the beginning of its internationalization phase. By connecting its stories to the Lille market, the company reaffirms its ability to create content with a Brazilian identity that has universal appeal, positioning itself firmly in the global audiovisual circuit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
